Michaelis is part of a family business founded in 1934 by Heinz Michaelis, a tailor with a sharp vision. His mission was to design Italian quality clothing, paying extra attention to each step in the design and production process. From the material itself to the final details, all steps should be carefully weighed and applied.
There’s always place for quality. The men’s wear is currently available in hundreds of shops both nationally and internationally, including the Bijenkorf in Amsterdam. In order to increase the online presence of the company, Michaelis decided to call for the help of the full-service e-commerce specialist Tauros Media.
Our first assignment was to develop a B2B webshop. Based on best practice we launched an e-commerce platform in 2016 that met all the requirements of a B2B fashion webshop. After the retailer has logged in, he will only be shown prices that apply to him. A size chart, payment on invoice and quick buy complete the ultimate B2B experience.
In the same year Tauros Media launched Michaelis’ B2C webshop. A discount shop where users can easily buy quality clothing for a reasonable price. Just like with the B2B webshop, the biggest challenge was the integration with the ERP system that is used by Michaelis: the Concentrator.
